Catalog description

This course gives students the opportunity to comprehensively study the work of a single author or small select group in depth and detail. Students explore the historical and social moment within which the author wrote and consider the various aesthetic and theoretical concerns with which the author engages. Students read several major works by the author as well as critical theory on and related to the author's work. Cross-listed as WRI457.
