Catalog description

This course engages in the literatures of contemporary Indigenous/Native North American writers. From non-linear narratives to Indigenous world views, this literature seminar focuses on subversions of colonial narratives and the reality of past, present, and future Native literature through contemporary writers, thinkers, and artists from across Turtle Island. Students end this course with a community-based project focused on literature, narrative subversion, and topics related to this course.
