Catalog description

This course investigates the turbulent innovations of literature of the twentieth century, reading a selection of iconic works, both American and international. It examines Modernism—between the two World Wars—and the Postmodern which reaches up to our own current moment. Students read from literary texts in several genres, may view visual art, listen to music, or explore historical contexts. Prerequisite: COR110. Co-requisite: WRI210.
