Sanskrit Translation Project

Catalog description

One-on-one mentoring of a Sanskrit language student by a senior translator. The student selects a Sanskrit text, or portion of a text, in consultation with the senior translator. The goal is to deepen the student's knowledge of the grammar, vocabulary, cultural context, and content of the specific text and genre. Students may only take this class with the permission of the program. Course offered online.
