Catalog description
This course introduces in depth contemplative practice/ meditation from specific spiritual traditions. The spiritual tradition will vary depending on the visiting instructor or Naropa faculty presenting. This 5 - 7 day retreat provides a deep dive into contemplative practice and aims to provide a retreat experience in order to develop stability and confidence in contemplation. This serves to fulfil the contemplative practice requirements for Master of Divinity students. Low residency Master of Divinity students may attend online. The online section is for Mdiv Hybrid students only. Students from other programs at Naropa University may attend for a subsidized rate. This program is also open to the general public through Extended Studies, cost varies by specific program and teacher. This course will be held during Community Practice week during the Fall term.
