Contemplative Performance Ensemble

Catalog description

Students engage in the collaborative creation, rehearsal, technical production, and performance of a departmental theatrical production, grounded in contemplative and ensemble-based performance practices. Emphasizing presence, embodiment, and collective process, the course integrates mindful approaches to acting and creation through all phases of production. Students must commit fully to the ensemble and all scheduled performance dates, which may differ from regular class meeting times.
