Students read, write, and perform musical charts with a special emphasis on sight-reading techniques and improvisation. Topics include seventh chords and cord-extensions, chord progressions, mixed meter, non-harmonic tones, tonicization, and chord/scale theory. Prerequisite: MUS210 or equivalent.
