Linguistics for Teachers CLD K-12

Catalog description

Students explore theories of first and second language acquisition and discover how these theories have impacted different teaching methodologies. Students also study the form and function of the English language and practice methods of teaching the English language to speakers of other languages. This course is designed to meet state requirements for the Culturally Linguistically Diverse (CLD) endorsement. Includes practicum hours. Cross-listed as EDU540. Delivered online.
