Catalog description

The Psychology of Personal Financial will provide a foundation for students to build their financial literacy while also learning about the psychology of money and how this may impact their financial decisions. Students will learn about their own personal “money story” while studying the psychology of money, which in turn will reinforce effective money understanding, beliefs, and habits. Students will also learn a variety of skills in order to budget their finances more effectively. Students can put these skills into practice through various activities that will build their financial literacy. Application of the skills learned in this class are designed to influence financial habits in order to make informed financial decisions.
