Catalog description

This didactic and experiential course is intended to expose students to the personal and systemic impact of crises, disasters, and other trauma-causing events. Emphasis will be given to the impact of the climate crisis and its disproportionate impact on marginalized communities. Students will apply theory and best practices to a topic of their choice related to recovery and resiliency work with individuals, groups, and communities. NBTC students only.
