Catalog description

A weeklong Maitri retreat program brings attention to endings: the ending of the three-year program for the students and the termination process in therapy. Students are encouraged to bring mindfulness and awareness to the experiences that arise during termination. The traditional teachings on death and dying found in the Tibetan Book of the Dead provide surprisingly relevant guidance for the contemporary therapist in dealing with endings of all kinds. Prerequisite: CNSC-765, Maitri IV.
