Catalog description

This course builds on the content and skills presented in CMHC-603E. Topics include crisis intervention, suicide prevention, suicide assessment strategies, as well as the use of psychological first aid. Students continue to develop their theoretical orientation, understanding of the stages of therapeutic relationship, and engage in videotaped practice sessions with supervision and integration of feedback. Prerequisite: CMHC-603E.
