Catalog description

This course is for students seeking to fulfill MCC's College Reading Proficiency requirement. This course will focus on the development of effective critical thinking, reading, and writing skills. Students will develop their ability to participate in academic discussions by reading and responding to academic texts and by writing clear sentences, effectively developed paragraphs, and short essays. Completing this course with a grade of C or better will fulfill MCC's College Reading Proficiency Requirement and prepare the student for ENG-091.
