Catalog description

Students will examine the origins of mental illness using biological, psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive, humanistic-existential, and socio-cultural perspectives. They will study the biomedical and psychologically based interventions used in the treatment of maladaptive behavior, and the community-based prevention measures and treatment efforts used to promote mental health.
