Catalog description

A survey study of jazz from 1900-present. The types of jazz studied will include the chronological progression of Dixieland, blues, swing, be-bop, cool jazz, jazz fusion and free jazz. There will also be a focus on important musicians, composers, and arrangers of jazz music.
