Catalog description

This class is designed to advance the student's knowledge and to enhance their own health. An examination of national health priorities regarding the reduction of preventable death, disease and disability will be studied. Health related issues included are: substance abuse, stress reduction, grief and loss, development of healthy relationships, sexually transmitted diseases, lifestyle related diseases and principles of a healthy life-style.
