Catalog description
This course is a continuation of Basic PLC Operations and teaches advanced programming techniques. Students will practice programming with simulators and real PLCs, including touch screens. Topics include data handling, logic functions, math operations, bit shifts, sequencers, analog I/O, and subroutines. The course also covers advanced robotics programming, work-cell design, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and integrating robots into automated environments. Students will learn how industrial equipment communicates and how to use advanced features to improve automation operations.
