Electronic Health Records

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the electronic health record. Topics include background and history of electronic health records, terminology, gathering patient information, scheduling appointments, recording of examination information, processing lab tests, documentation skills that are transferable. Students will gain conceptual theory and hands on practice that they need to work in today's medical office.
