Catalog description
This course is an introductory basic bookkeeping and accounting class that emphasizes the accounting cycle. Day-to-day accounting activities are covered, through the preparation of the financial statements and the process of closing the financial records. Upon successful completion of this class, the student will be well prepared to take ACC-201 Principles of Accounting I. This class is the same as BUS-100 - the prefix was changed beginning Fall 2013 semester. (Students having difficulty with BUS-101 may transfer to this class through the end of the add/drop period with no loss of tuition).
