This course is designed to provide the student with the cognitive skills to comprehend the anatomical structure and the principles of body function, which are essential to the performance of the skills expected of a veterinary technician. The course will cover comparative functions of domestic animals, beginning at the cellular level and progressing through tissue types, integument, bones, joints, muscles, tissues, and the respiratory system.
