Catalog description

An introduction and overview of the growing and ever-changing field of Sports Psychology, applying psychological principles to athletic performance. Topics include, but are not limited to, theoretical foundations of behavior in relation to performance, motivation, concentration, mental toughness, attention, decision-making, team dynamics and leadership, mental health risks for athletes, and athletic injury. The application of psychological skills to performance and waellness is an essential element.
