Catalog description
This non-credit course prepares students for a general college-level math course, such as Survey of Mathematics or Introduction to Statistics. Students planning on pursuing a STEM major should take MTH-0403 instead of this course. Topics include a review of arithmetic operations on real numbers and various groups of real numbers, proportions, percent, logic, sets and set operations, as well as graphing and interpreting data. This course is graded on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. To receive a final grade of "S," students must earn an average of 70% or higher on coursework for the semester.
