Intro to Teaching Experience I

Catalog description

This course provides the C2C apprentice's first structured, supervised experience in a K-12 classroom prior to formal admission to a teacher education program. Apprentices observe and assist a mentor teacher while participating in an ongoing lecture series. Students will be introduced to the professional dispositions, observation protocols, and foundational vocabulary of the teaching profession. Reflections and analysis are built into every field visit.
