This course is designed for biology and life science-related majors. This class will introduce students to important biological concepts as well as the scientific process. Topics covered will include the chemistry of biological molecules, cell structure and function, metabolism, meiosis and mitosis, Mendelian and molecular genetics and biotechnology.
