Catalog description

Trigonometric functions and inverse trigonometric functions and the graphical representations of these functions; solutions to right and oblique triangles with laws of sines and cosines; vectors; solutions to trigonometric equations; identities; polar coordinates; complex numbers and De Moivre's Theorem. Trigonometry is a branch of mathematics devoted to studying the relationships between angles and ratios of lengths. Trigonometry plays a vital role in calculus and has a wide range of applications in architecture, surveying, astronomy, physics, engineering, construction, marine biology, navigation, and crime scene investigation.
