Math and Science for Young Children

Catalog description

This course explores children's thinking processes and problem-solving abilities as they become aware of the physical world. It includes planning and developing interactive, engaging mathematics and science experiences for children ages 3- 8. Teaching practices that enhance children's natural interest in math and science will be investigated, including standards established by the California State Department of Education.
