Catalog description

This course explores the practice of social entrepreneurship. A social entrepreneur identifies a social problem and seeks innovative ways to contribute to solving this problem in a sustainable way. They are individuals that integrate active citizenship with personal goals. A survey of social problems is covered and innovative business ventures or unique non-profit models to address them are investigated and evaluated using social science research methods.
