Catalog description

This course surveys the history of Oregon from pre-history to the modern era. Topics include the Native American experience, explorers, immigrants, the frontier experience, patterns of settlement, and Oregon's role in American history into the 21st century. The course explores economic, political, social, and cultural factors in terms of race, ethnicity, gender, class, and religion.
