Catalog description

This course introduces students to a variety of stress management techniques including breathing techniques, mindful movement, meditation, and lifestyle changes. Students will explore the physiology and biochemistry of stress responses, identify sources of their personal stress, conduct audits of their own lifestyles to examine stress factors, discuss the impacts of stress on physical health and disease, and reflect on the efficacy of stress management techniques in their own lives.
