Catalog description

This course is a hands-on introduction to basic stagecraft and technical production. Students are exposed to the terminology, tools, equipment, machinery, and materials involved in standard set construction, painting, rigging, lighting and sound. Students learn to work safely, collaboratively and creatively as part of a production team for Theatre at the Mount productions and events. Formerly offered as THE 284. Prerequisites: ENG 098 , FYE 101 , MAT 092 or MAT 096 , RDG 098 , or placement.
