Community Service Learning Initiative.

Catalog description

This course invites students to connect with their community and explore the diverse needs and experiences of others. Through hands-on civic engagement and service-learning projects, students will develop their communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Over the course of 30 hours of community-based service, students will bridge classroom learning to lived experiences. Projects may include partnering with local organizations or community groups and will encourage ethical reasoning, empathy, leadership, and civic responsibility. Prerequisites: ENG 098 , FYE 101 , RDG 098 , or placement.
