Catalog description
This course introduces the theories, essential concepts, and methods of interdisciplinary studies. Students will learn the value of understanding a topic through multiple lenses and how to synthesize these perspectives to solve problems, pursue truth, develop new interpretations, and produce original academic work. In addition, the outcomes of the Interdisciplinary Studies program will be explained, and career planning will be addressed. Prerequisites: ENG 101 (or corequisite).
