Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the cardiovascular system, electrocardiography (EKG) monitoring, basic rhythm interpretation, and the role of the EKG technician. There are two components of this course composed of classroom lecture and practical application. Students will participate in actual practice, learning how to do EKGs in the lab. Spring. Prerequisites: ENG 098 , FYE 101 , RDG 098 , placement or permission of division dean.
