Catalog description

This course provides students with a solid foundation in the fundamentals of the Linux operation system. Students gain system level experience through problem solving exercises at the command line and in the graphical use interface. Students learn the essential command-line commands necessary to be accomplished users of their Linux workstations, as well as be able to use the GUI when appropriate. This course helps to prepare students for CompTIA Linux+ exam. Fall. Prerequisite: MAT 092 or MAT 096 , RDG 098 , and ENG 098 or placement.
