Catalog description
This course offers systematic study of social factors, structure and relationships. It emphasizes values and rules of conduct in society, the process of socialization, group characteristics and influence, and power relations. Students analyze selected social institutions and compare their influence on life chances, social inequality and social conflict. Lecture three hours per week.
