Catalog description

This course will study the structure and function of the human body. Human cadavers and other mammalian materials are used. Major topics covered are: anatomical terminology; some concepts in chemistry; cell structure, function, and division; genetics; tissues; the integumetary, skeletal/joints, muscular, and nervous systems. The sections (coded H1, H2 and H3) are hybrid web based courses. A portion of your course work will be offered via the Internet, but you are still expected to attend class during the scheduled meeting times. If you do not have Internet access, you can use the student computers at Morton College. These courses are designed for students who can work with minimal direction. You will receive access instructions on the first day of this course, via Blackboard.
