The cultural achievements of the Renaissance, Enlightenment, Romantic, Modern and post-modern periods are studied to develop an understanding of their philosophical ideas, values, cultural meaning, artistic form, and contributions to contemporary thought Students may not receive credit for both HUM-5 and HUM-5H. 54.00 hours lecture.
