Catalog description

This course is designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Dental Hygiene program. The students are exposed to the continuation of clinical dental hygiene issues that are implemented in the clinical setting. The course focuses on clinical issues and experiences of the students. Emphasis will be placed on assessment and treatment planning of moderate to advanced periodontal cases. The development of the dental hygiene portfolio will be continued. 18.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade only)
