Catalog description

A general education course for non-biology majors and allied health students who are interested in the underlying mechanisms of human heredity. Emphasis will be given to the role of genetics and environment on cells, individuals, family and human populations. Discussion on human genetic disorders and the social implications of modern human genetics will be included. 54.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade only)
