Catalog description
A survey of Native American cultures from the pre-Columbian period through conquest and reservation life and into the present. Incorporates evidence from archaeology, oral history, personal narratives, and other sources. Emphasis will be on the growth of Native American cultures, modern communities, including urban life, social and religious institutions, and traditional cultural elements and artistic traditions. 54.00 hours lecture. (Same as ETS-27) (Letter grade only)
