Dispatcher Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault

Catalog description

Provides knowledge of the cycle of violence, signs and symptoms of domestic violence and sexual assault, phases of domestic violence, different environmental violence, and the understanding of why victims stay in violent relationships. Students will learn call taking and dispatching skills to assist victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and the California Penal Code sections and other related laws in order to assist victims. 8.00 hours lecture. (Pass/No Pass only)
