Certified Logistics Technician

Catalog description

This course covers the core competency areas required for mid level, high performance material handling workers across all supply chain facilities. Topics include product receiving and storage, order processing, packaging and shipment, inventory control, transportation, and metrics. The program is aligned with Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) standards for Certified Logistics Technicians (CLT). Upon completion, students will be assessed for the Certified Logistics Technician credential. Prerequisites: CLA certification 8th grade level of math and 9th grade level of English. Complete MSSC modules on your own time while getting professional guidance from Moraine faculty. Optional virtual working sessions Tuesday or Thursday from 5:30pm-7:30pm. (2.5 AEC)
