Catalog description
The course will introduce the process of interpreting from ASL to English and English to ASL. Students will analyze source language (ASL and English) texts and translate them into the target (ASL or English), building to consecutive interpretations of prepared and spontaneous content. Theories of interpretation will be introduced and discussed. Fee is required. (4 contact hours)
