Catalog description

This course introduces the student to the roles and responsibilities of a firefighter. Topics will include communications and fire extinguishers. Regulations established by regulatory agencies such as the National Fire Protection Agency and state statutes are explored within the context of administrative procedures associated with fire suppression. Students will be affiliated with and members of a fire department. Fee is required. (16 contact hours)
