Catalog description

This course is an integral component of the Cannabis Retail Specialist Certificate. The primary goal of this course is to develop a general understanding of laws and regulations that govern the possession, use, transfer, and need for compliance relating to the business of cannabis. Students will consider the necessity of legal regulation as it relates to cannabis, and how it intersects with existing state and federal controlled substance laws, employment policies, the drug-free workplace act, and the ultimate goal of legal compliance and safety.
