Catalog description

Introduces students to the reading, analysis, and creation of creative writing across multiple genres. Students analyze published short stories, poems, and creative non-fiction to identify writing elements and techniques. Through guided practice, students write and revise original works of fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction. Emphasis is placed on integrating craft elements, participating in peer review, and revising work based on feedback to strengthen creative expression and technical skill.
