Provides design, manufacturing and quality assurance personnel with the fundamentals and concepts used on engineering drawings to describe from, location and orientation of features for precision parts. The ANSI/ASME Y14.5M-2018 national standard for Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is an international language that consists of symbols, rules, definitions and conventions adopted by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for engineering drawings. A background in print reading is recommended.
