Industrial Wiring provides students with essential knowledge and hands-on skills for safely working with electrical systems in industrial environments. Students will learn to identify and mitigate electrical hazards, including arc flash prevention and proper lockout procedures, while mastering the use of multimeters and interpreting ladder logic diagrams used in industrial control circuits. The course emphasizes practical applications including motor installation and control, electrical panel wiring to NEC standards, and the operation of various input devices, relays, and contactors commonly found in industrial settings.
