Catalog description
Complex Health Alterations II prepares the learner to provide and evaluate care for patients across the lifespan with alterations in the immune, neuro-sensory, musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, renal/urinary, reproductive systems and shock, burns and trauma. The learner will also focus on management of care for patients with high-risk perinatal conditions and high-risk newborns. (Prerequisites: 543-109 Nursing: Complex Health Alterations 1; 543-110 Nursing: Mental Health and Community Concepts; 543-111 Nursing: Intermediate Clinical Practice; 543-112 Nursing Advanced Skills. Concurrent enrollment in 543-114 Nursing: Management and Professional Concepts; 543-115 Nursing Advanced Clinical Practice; 543-116 Nursing Clinical Transition)
