This course focuses on the development of advanced clinical skills across the lifespan. Content includes advanced intravenous skills, blood product administration, chest tube systems, basic electrocardiogram interpretation and nasogastric/feeding tube insertion. (Prerequisites: 543-105 Nursing Health Alterations; 543-106 Nursing Health Promotion; 543-107 Nursing: Clinical Care Across the Lifespan; 543-108 Nursing: Introduction to Clinical Care Management. LPN to ADN Progression students are required to have completed 543-117 Nursing Bridge to ADN)
